While these are still important, it is critical to have a pay scale data from your organization.

  • “I need a raise that aligns with my cost/standard of living.”
  • “Why haven’t I gotten an increase in my salary?”
  • “I’m overdue for a raise; so I deserve one.”
  • “I need an increase because I’m having financial difficulties.”
  • “I’m going to work for our competitors.”
